[Hot-Blooded District] My Lover Is Jesse

Honestly, she only liked him for that face of his that made her heart race far too much.

Back then, one accidental glance had been all it took for her to set her sights on him.

"Don't you think it would be amazing to get inside the heart of a man so cold and aloof, so arrogant and conceited, and eventually become the lover who shares his bed every night, the one who stays by his side for the rest of his life?"

Her friends were all stunned by her words, shaken like never before by what they thought were her deluded ravings.

That man was no ordinary person.

Jesse, a madman crowned by God.

He was also a loyal yet despicable Christian, from the very bottom of Little Asia's despair. He had been abandoned and hurt, yet had also witnessed the glittering prosperity on the surface of this world and the filth and hypocrisy beneath it.

Fashionably wicked and brazen, wanton and flippant.

The weight of the sins he carried was too great for him to redeem himself.

She knew all this perfectly well, and didn't care.

Even when she later learned that an unknown woman had already made her way into his heart and claimed an important place there, she remained unfazed.

"Who said that? Of course I'm jealous!"

After saying this, Eve glared bitterly at the man nearby, carousing and reveling with the Mighty Warriors.

Then she gritted her teeth and whispered.

"...I'm so jealous I could die."

Before she could even confess, her Adam had been stolen away.

How could she accept that?

"No. I'm going to make sure I'm all he can think about."

I must have him.
