My next book is opening soon: I Fell for a Ship and Found Out the Real Couple Secretly Had a Crush on Me. Blurb at the very bottom.
▼ This book's blurb:
In Yu Xiaoyuan's twenty-one years of life, nothing good had ever happened to him. His family despised him, the people around him rejected him, and the world abandoned him in its darkest corner.
He was gloomy and defiant, often willing to hurt an enemy by eight hundred while injuring himself by a thousand, with no thought for the consequences. He hated this world with all his might.
Until fate finally took pity on him and bestowed its one and only gift upon him.
On the day he moved, he met Jiang Ming.
The one person who had once lit the only spark of light in his dark life.
The moment he took the first step toward Jiang Ming, he had already put on a mask of kindness, painstakingly crafted just for him.
He would look up at him with an innocent, harmless smile.
He would sit pitifully at the stairwell, waiting for him to come home.
Under the dim light, he would tremble as he gently touched the scar on Jiang Ming's chest and ask with aching tenderness, "Does it hurt?"
He didn't need to have a self of his own. He didn't care whether affection gained through deception was real. He only wanted to keep that affection going forever.
-
He had considered that Jiang Ming might fall for the perfectly disguised version of him.
He had considered keeping up the disguise forever so he could have Jiang Ming's love.
He had thought of everything.
Except that one day, after seeing him caught red-handed doing something undeniably evil, after seeing the side of him that was anything but kind or innocent, Jiang Ming would still cradle his face and tell him, word by word, as solemnly as if he meant to carve the words into Yu Xiaoyuan's bones:
"Yu Xiaoyuan, I love you. Whether you're an angel or a monster, whatever you are, I love you. Do you understand?"
-
For Yu Xiaoyuan, being born was not the beginning of life. The beginning came when Jiang Ming's love streaked across his barren night sky like a meteor.
From then on, with that shining meteorite as his starting point, his life slowly began to unfold.
He clumsily learned to shine, slowly learning to light his own way.
He was no longer a tiny, muddy, dark speck of dust in a chaotic universe. He became a star, spread into a nebula, inheriting the gentle yet steadfast light of that meteorite.
He looked back on the night the meteor came down.
At last, in that dazzling, warm light, he found a reason to love the world.
[Initially cold, later doting, max-strength, fatherly gong x A sickly, puppy-like artist shou with a troubled past]
*Reader notes:
1. A healing story with angst, sweetness, and melodrama. The author is a sucker for this kind of thing.
2. Older gong, six-year age gap.
3. 1v1, both physically and emotionally pure, happy ending.
4. The shou is gloomy and obsessive, with plenty of character flaws. He will be healed later on.

Please add my upcoming book, I Fell for a Ship and Found Out the Real Couple Secretly Had a Crush on Me, to your favorites! (=^▽^)/~
When Xia Zhi was ten, he was brought to the Chu family, where he grew up alongside their only son, Chu Shiyan.
Years later, Xia Zhi took over from the old butler and became the young new steward of the Chu residence.
He secretly resolved to do everything in his power to help his young master find a lifelong partner.
Xia Zhi clenched his fist. "I'll ship him harder than anyone else!"
The young master came home with a handsome young man.
Xia Zhi wiped away a tear, relieved. "Young Master hasn't smiled like this in ten years~"
Young Master: "Do I look like I'm smiling?"
The young master came home holding hands with a young artist.
Xia Zhi poured tea with a smile. "Young Master has never been this nice to anyone before."
Young Master: "Am I usually not nice to you?"
The young master came home with a blind date.
Xia Zhi looked delighted. "This is the first time Young Master has ever brought someone home!"
Young Master: "?"
Xia Zhi was sure he'd done everything he could, but the young master never appreciated it. Every time, after only a few words, he'd scowl and chase the person away.
What will happen to Young Master if he stays single forever!
Xia Zhi collapsed in tears before the old master's portrait. "Master! I've failed to live up to your trust!"
Young Master: "? My dad isn't dead yet."
Xia Zhi wiped his eyes. "Your father's greatest wish before going abroad was to see you marry the person you love."
Young Master: "... You know perfectly well who's making that difficult, don't you?"
Then one day, while tidying the young master's display cabinet, Xia Zhi stumbled upon an ugly little piece of pottery.
It looked like a cat and a dog holding hands. It was rough and crude, completely out of place among the cabinet's other elegant collectibles.
Curious, Xia Zhi picked it up and saw two crooked lines squeezed onto the base:
Xiaozhi and Shiyan
Together forever
He suddenly remembered that it was his pottery project from seventh grade.
Back then, the young master had glanced at it and said disdainfully, "... Is that what I look like to you?"
At some point afterward, the figurine had vanished. Xia Zhi had assumed it was lost while he was cleaning his room.
But...
Why was something that had disappeared more than ten years ago kept in the young master's collection cabinet...?
It's basically a silly story about a slow-witted butler driving his overbearing CEO young master up the wall, with everyday healing and sweet fluff~
Theme: Keep working hard at life, and things will get better
It's nice to read, and the author's writing is really good. It's been a long time since I've seen a novel in Jinjiang that suits my taste. I'm really happy to see Xiaoyuan getting better and being healed bit by bit. At first, Xiao Yuan would knock the cake the little boy wanted to the ground, but in the end, Xiao Yuan would find a new lollipop from the bag and give it to the little boy. This all shows that Xiaoyuan's character has changed a lot. No matter what kind of Xiaoyuan he is, he is so popular!
Great writing!!!!!
I like this novel very much. It is a sour and sweet redemption story. I like the emotional line of the protagonist the most. The protagonist is very plump. I also like other people in the club and the atmosphere of the club. The author's writing style is quite good! Keep up the good work! The only thing I didn't like very much was the part where I found the male protagonist who was responsible for the car accident. I liked the emotional expression in this part, but I still rejected this kind of bloody plot in my heart! Overall, it's very good. I recommend everyone who clicks in to check it out!
The ending is full of flowers, it's really well written in big letters!!!!!!
This is not a good idea!
Damn it, why stop here!! Piqued my interest!!!
It is difficult for anyone to resist such a unique and passionate love
Wuwuwu, the teacher just discovered this book 😭 so well written that I can't forget it. I can't forget it at all 😭
Ahhhhh, I am looking forward to the author's happiness. I really enjoyed reading the text. The story of Brother Ming and Xiaoyuan is really touching. Loving someone is like raising a flower. Brother Ming really raised the most beautiful flower.
It's been a long time since I've seen such an old-fashioned article (praise), and I shed tears all night after reading it.
