That evening, standing two hundred miles in the opposite direction from their target, in front of the evil sorcery research institute that has been reduced to rubble
Lynn: I knew it!
Lloyd: Damn it! Why did I let him give directions?
Later on,
He says he's going to wipe out a coastal village, but accidentally takes down the sea monsters' lair instead;
He says he's going to help an invasion from another world, but accidentally repairs a space-time rift instead;
As the world grows ever more orderly,
Lynn sincerely exclaims, "You truly are the pride of the Divine Realm!"
Lloyd: Is that supposed to be an insult?
Not long after, someone knocks on the door again. Two people are standing outside.
A black-haired young man with golden, slit-pupil eyes raises the letter in his hand. "May I ask which of you wrote to invite me to work together to take over the world?"
A white-robed man with a cigarette between his lips blasts the door off its hinges. His fingertips, covered in thick calluses from handling guns, stop just short of the Demon King's nose. "Are you the one who stole my adorable intern?"

After the mission ends, Lynn is summoned back to the Divine Realm. He has no time to say goodbye to Lloyd, who has gone out to buy milk, so he leaves a note behind.
When he arrives at the Divine Realm, he checks the time and thinks Lloyd should be home by now, too.
The next second, a piercing alarm rings throughout the entire Divine Realm.
The demonic bloodline that had lain dormant for a hundred years has suddenly awakened.
