Ever since Mori Yuka, a police inspector from Kanagawa, transferred to the First Investigative Division in Tokyo, she hadn't had a single good night's sleep.
The constant murders in Beika Town were giving her headaches, and the Mouri group showing up at the crime scenes made her want to pull her hair out.
Then a flyer appeared at the Metropolitan Police Department. It was supposedly sent by a bomber, who sent one every year. This year, there was just one.
The next day, she looked at the two ghosts standing in front of her and could only sigh at her rotten luck.
So...
While defusing a bomb:
Matsuda: Can you even do this?! Cut the red wire!
While chasing a criminal:
Hagiwara: Little Yuka probably can't drive, right? Let me take the wheel!
After it was all over:
Mori: Ugh.
Hagiwara: (pressing his palms together) Sumimasen.
After dying in an explosion, Matsuda Jinpei opened his eyes and saw Hagiwara Kenji standing before him.
After exchanging a few punches as their greeting, Matsuda Jinpei finally calmed down enough to think about what had happened.
The surroundings looked like a girl's bedroom. And, of course, it was.
Matsuda Jinpei stared in silence at Mori Yuka, who was curled up in bed. Hagiwara, who had gone to check out their surroundings, returned with bad news: they couldn't get more than a hundred meters away from Mori Yuka.
If they went farther than a hundred meters, an invisible barrier would stop them.
Matsuda Jinpei looked up from his thoughts and saw that Mori Yuka had woken up and was staring at them in terror.
Matsuda: ...
Reader's note:
In this story, the bomber who killed Matsuda wasn't caught. Even after Matsuda died, the bomber kept sending flyers to the Metropolitan Police Department.

A sneak peek at an upcoming story~
A certain company has just released a new pet-raising game, The Oiran's Procession.
The Oiran's Procession is a character-raising game with all kinds of characters to choose from. Warabihime is often one of the oiran players most want to collect.
"A thousand ways to raise her, but Daki falls at thirteen.
Half the battle done, then the rest. In Kyogokuya, Warabihime's by your side." This is the popular lament on the game forum about raising Warabihime.
But most players fail at age thirteen, and some of the rest fail during winter in the pleasure district.
Players say: This is too hard!
Ume had known from a very young age that she was different from everyone else. There was no one around, yet she would always hear strange voices.
"Wow! Little Ume is so pretty!"
"Huh? Warabihime ran away from home! Waaah (┯_┯)"
"She's hurt! Get the medicine!"
And then she really did receive medicine. Isn't that amazing?
Player One: Haha, my daughter finally became an oiran!
Player Two: Waaah, my daughter eloped!
Player Three: My daughter ran away from home, waaah (┯_┯)
All players: There's way too much freedom!
Reader's note:
1. This is my first story, so the characters are seriously out of character.
2. When Ume becomes an oiran at the end, she'll use the name Warabihime, since she never became a demon.

Theme: .
I love this setting. I searched a lot of fandoms before and found that most of the CPs in the resurrected police academy group are Touko, and there are almost no CPs from Matsuda. The rest are either young tame dyes or entering the police academy or simply finishing their lunch before falling in love. Totally looking forward to this.
