After being reincarnated in Detective Conan, Ogata Yusuke retained his memories from his previous life. The upside was that he had an excellent memory, to the point where he never forgot anything he'd seen. Even a single glance was enough for him to remember something. This special ability made Ogata Yusuke, who hadn't amounted to much in his previous life, incredibly excited. He thought this was just like the protagonists in the novels from his previous life. Ahem. All right, after a month of recklessly testing his limits, Ogata Yusuke sadly realized that he wasn't the protagonist. Some bullet comments had appeared before his eyes. After studying them for ages, all he learned was that this world was an alternate-timeline manga called Detective Conan. Conan? Where had he heard that name before...? Wasn't it a detective novel that had been really popular in his previous life? It was about a high school student named Shinichi Kudo who was turned into a child, took the name Conan, and fought against an organization! Good thing he hadn't heard of the Ogata family. He was probably just some random passerby. Ogata Yusuke breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness! After that day, the bullet comments never appeared again, not until Ogata Yusuke entered the police academy. "Aah, it's the police academy group!" As for how he got a spot, that's a story involving his childhood friend, Ran Mouri. Ran Mouri is a lucky kid, and so is Qing'an. When their luck came together, things couldn't have gone better! On a shopping trip, they both won spots to use a VR game. There were two spots in total, and Ran and Qing'an happened to win them both. Ran Mouri won a spot for [A Life Among Yokai], while Akimoto Qing'an won one for [The Decisive Battle of the Cherry Blossoms]. [The Decisive Battle of the Cherry Blossoms] has three sections. Clearing one section unlocks the next. But Qing'an hadn't expected the characters and objects you'd play as to be chosen at random! That's right: people and objects! Qing'an started out as a knife and nearly cried. After countless rounds, Qing'an, now playing as an armed robber, expressionlessly tossed away his gun and raised his hands above his head. "I surrender!" Everyone held hostage in the bank was stunned! From an eighty-year-old woman to a rock by the roadside, there's nothing that isn't in the draw pool! After being turned into a gun yet again, Qing'an made up his mind! He was done being human! So when Hiromitsu Morofushi used a gun to try to kill himself, it fired a bouquet of flowers instead of a bullet. Hiromitsu Morofushi: "…?" Shuichi Akai: "!!?" Shuichi Akai heard Scotch say in disbelief, "Rye... you..." Akai: No, I didn't.
