Fang Yu was banished to the mortal realm.

Fang Yu had been a little immortal in the Celestial Realm. One day, while wandering around, she accidentally entered the Immortal Maiden Pool and got a good look at several of the Heavenly Emperor's precious sons. The Heavenly Emperor was furious and banished her to the mortal realm without a word.

Fang Yu didn't accept the verdict. How was she supposed to know that the men's bath was called the Immortal Maiden Pool? Besides, she'd only taken a few extra looks. She hadn't even gotten the chance to touch them. But as a low-ranking immortal, there wasn't much she could do about it, even if she disagreed.

But!

Something went wrong somewhere along the way down to the mortal realm. She'd lost her powers, but she still had her memories.

And with her memories came those few amateur tricks. She'd planned to use them to make a name for herself in the human world, but she got scammed as soon as she applied for a bodyguard job. She couldn't help marveling that there were always people more capable than you, even among immortals!

But that didn't dampen Fang Yu's enthusiasm. She went on to apply for jobs as a cleaner, a security guard, and a network administrator, only to get scammed again!

In the end, she casually took a job selling insurance, only to discover that selling insurance wasn't simple either.

Fang Yu threw her head back and yelled, "Why does selling insurance have to involve a murder case?!"

Xu Xianqian offered, without a hint of emotion, "Why sell insurance? Hand it over. You're coming with me to work a case."

Fang Yu: "No. You wimps just want to use me. I'm sticking to selling insurance."

Xu Xianqian smiled without a word. How could he politely and authoritatively tell this woman that he'd graduated from police academy with excellent grades?
