Can't Learn Magic? The Motherland Sends Textbooks

Good news: She transmigrated into a Western fantasy world of magic and has an affinity for the elements.

Bad news: Despite her elemental affinity, she just can't learn magic, and she doesn't have a golden finger.

From the start, her gambling-addict father sells her off to buy an indulgence.

Liu Ying: "..."

This can't be right, can it? Why doesn't a magic world follow the rules in the novels? Is it really this realistic!?

Fortunately, the teacher who buys her doesn't mind that she can't learn magic and promptly arranges for her to study martial arts, politics, and military affairs.

...This doesn't seem like a proper magic world. Who among ordinary people in a proper magic world studies this stuff? Is her teacher from some noble family?

She recalls that her parents, back on Earth, once mentioned a fortune-teller had said she was born with the bearing of an emperor. The Qing Dynasty had been gone for ages, and Liu Ying had always thought the claim was nonsense. She still thinks so now.

That is, until her teacher reveals their identity as a member of the resistance.

Liu Ying: "…"

So this is where her imperial bearing comes in, is it?

The Earth mom who has just found her kid: We're rescuing her, we're rescuing her!

The leader back home, whom she's just managed to contact: According to the research department's report, you might be unable to learn magic because of differences in ideology and culture. Don't worry, we've already started interpreting and reconstructing it based on the physiology of our people and our cultural heritage. When the time comes, you can just learn our revised version.

Liu Ying, holding a copy of "Introduction to Cultivation: Huaxia Edition (Revised Version 1.0)": "..."

Fine, you can study your magic. I'll cultivate immortality.

Theme: If magic can't light up your skill tree, just switch to an Eastern server.
