Mu Qingning is a shut-in who gets introduced to a business simulation game by her roommate. The beauty of the starting NPCs goes straight to her head, so she starts from scratch in the game and founds Lime Entertainment.

A college guy chasing his musical dreams? Drag him in to sing!

A rebellious rich kid defying his family? Drag him in to rap!

Talented creatives, models who wandered into the wrong audition, all of them get dragged into the company to work for her!

With idols, actors, singers, and bands, the company keeps growing. The seven unknowns Mu Qingning picked up at the start become top stars, and Lime Entertainment grows from an obscure startup into a leader in the entertainment industry.

At last, after grinding her way to success in the simulation game, Mu Qingning suddenly discovers that its world isn't so simple... Can anyone tell her why an entertainment company with the same name has appeared in real life too?!

A little skit--

Boy band member: Boss Mu, the fans want you to give a lecture on how to start a successful business!

Actress: But Boss Mu already promised to teach my fans how to apply acting skills in real life with me...

Band lead singer: You two, get in line! Boss Mu, you looked amazing in that accidental cameo last time. The fans are clamoring to see you, or they'll stop following us!

Mu Qingning: ? Do you think I don't have enough work already?

System: Wait, why do you have more fans than all your artists combined? Why do you even have your own fan photographers!

Fans: Being a star fan isn't in style anymore. Career-driven, powerful women are our role models!

Reading tips:

* No real-life inspirations or references. The setting is entirely fictional and doesn't follow real-world logic. This is my take on the entertainment industry.

* No male lead, and very little romance. The extra chapters feature a second male lead with unrequited feelings.

* An entertainment-industry business and career story with stress-free progression. The first arc focuses on a boy band, so there are few female characters early on. Please skip it if that's not for you.

Theme: Those who chase the light will one day shine brilliantly
