"My frozen brush grows lazy at writing new poems; wine by the cold stove is warmed from time to time." From "Beginning of Winter" by Li Bai
Delicate, sickly digital artist VS aloof neighbor boy
-
Shi Wenhan had a little boy next door whose name was very similar to hers: Wen Shihan.
Since they were both born on the day marking the beginning of winter, their parents, by unspoken agreement, chose names from the same line of poetry.
She just happened to get an older boy next door, too.
After a family upheaval, she had no choice but to stay with the boy next door.
From elementary school through university,
Shi Wenhan followed in his footsteps, hiding feelings in her heart that she couldn't put into words.
-
An old diary has yellowed with age.
An aloof flower has unknowingly fallen from its pedestal.
Wen Shihan turns into a clingy puppy just to win her back. His father kicks him hard: "Where were you all this time?"
"My Shi this," "my Shi that," "Shi, Shi, Shi..."
What do you do when your crush suddenly goes crazy?! Did he lose a game of truth or dare?
Shi Wenhan only wants to hide, but finds herself trapped on every side. With no escape, she's pinned against the wall in the stairwell and kissed until she can barely catch her breath.
"What? You don't like your big brother anymore?"
Reading guide:
1. She is only staying with him! Staying with him! She's not adopted! Not adopted!
2. The story begins with the heroine's diary. Each diary entry is its own story, depicting everyday life in a slice-of-life style.
3. Two points of view reveal the heroine's history of unrequited love: it seems like the heroine is the only one nursing a bittersweet crush, but actually the hero fell for her first.
4. Although the ending is a BE, it's a sweet story (doge).
Theme: Say your love out loud
Hello everyone, I am Jiyu. Thank you to the readers who can see this. Regarding this book, my idea and plan was to pop up in my head almost at the same time as the previous book "The Black Cat under the Starry Night" (which is now "The Black Cat Under the Starry Night"). The fate of the book is the same as Jiyu's current life. Jiyu voluntarily gave up in the first battle to take the postgraduate entrance examination. Now in the second world war, I still have not achieved my goal. The same is true for this book. The original plan was to consist of 40 diaries, but the manuscript was lost during the period and the study burden increased. It has been delayed from the beginning to the present, and the more I write, the more I deviate from the original plan. After a few years, I picked up a pen again. My writing skills are not as good as those in the college entrance examination, and I haven't been able to come up with an idea for a long time. Maybe this version of life is not the life that Shi Wenhan and Wen Shihan should have originally enjoyed, but for me, as well as for us Shi Bao and Brother Wen, it is the best ending and maintains the final direction. Because this book is BE, I haven't decided what extras to write for the moment. If any of you out there can read this paragraph of mine and have extras you want to read, just reply to me and I will adopt them. Finally, I would like to thank all the teachers for their support. I will always cherish Shi Wenhan and Wen Shihan. See you in the next book! [Spread flowers]
