1. A revenge story! The protagonist is messed up, and the author's not responsible for the protagonist's violent behavior!
2. I really like Sasuke, and I didn't like the ending of the TV version. That proud, unyielding boy was like an eagle trying to break free from fate's cage, but in the end he was treated as a tool, had his wings broken and his spine crushed, and was locked in a cage to eke out an existence. Every time I see that ending, I feel suffocated. So Sasuke will not suffer in this story!!! He had it too rough in the original, and I want him to get what he wants in my book.
3. An incredibly over-the-top, melodramatic story. I'm writing Naruto fanfiction, so what's wrong with a little melodrama?
