A Stitch in Her Skirt (A Collection of Stories About Women in Ancient China)

Women do appear in the history books, but only in a few brief lines. Yet even a glimpse of those lines can represent the long journey of a lifetime for so many. This is a history of women, exploring the extraordinary lives of those who passed through history and then departed, some disheartened, others caught between joy and sorrow. A few notes for readers 1. This is exclusively a history of Chinese women. The figures aren't arranged by date or contribution, and not everyone featured will be famous. (Mostly because my abilities are limited, sob.) 2. I can't promise a set update schedule, but I'll do my best! 3. I'll adapt the stories, and for some who I feel deserved a less regretful ending, I'll try to change the fate history gave them. If you feel that's inappropriate, just let me know and I'll stop! Theme: History sifts through the sands of time, and those worth remembering are not only kings, nobles, generals, and ministers
