[Harry Potter] I'm Doomed, I've Become Voldemort's Mom

To be honest, Voldemort definitely won't be born, so this title is totally clickbait. ( )

But just as the title says, the female lead is reborn as Merope Gaunt. That's the story. (I'm out of words.)

Really, I only came up with this on a whim because I wanted to write a story about Parseltongue. (

At first, I plan to use first person to focus more on the female lead's inner thoughts and make jokes. Later, it'll probably switch to third person. (Though I'll still make jokes once it does. x)

This probably won't be a serious story. (I even picked a lighthearted style. x) It likely won't be very rigorous, either. When inspiration strikes, I'll just write it right away, without planning to revise anything. (Hey! x) But everyone will be just fine.

The Dumbledore teacher-student bond and friendship will probably take up most of the story. Well, the female lead will have a crush on old Dumbledore for a long time, gush over him, and pursue him (or rather, middle-aged Dumbledore at that point. x), and so on. (What is this? Hey! x) But it really is a friendship-focused story. (Ahem.)

I figure middle-aged Dumbledore won't be as detached as he is later on, so there's a good chance he'll seem a little OOC to everyone. Sumimasen!

...Also, even though I planned to write about Dumbledore, I don't actually know much about Fantastic Beasts, and I don't plan to write about it. (Hey! x) I probably won't write much that involves it, but if I accidentally do and get something wrong by not following the movie canon, please forgive me. Just treat it as a parallel universe or something. (Hey!)

I have a few headcanons about the Gaunt family, mostly based on my own imaginings from the original books. Some readers may think I've gone a bit far, so consider this a warning.

I don't know what else to say, so that's that. I hope someone will read it. (?)
