Blurb:

"Me and My Older-Boyfriend-Type Man."

1. Jiang He was too young to appreciate the appeal of an older boyfriend, and broke up early with the man who had cared for her devotedly and loved her tenderly.

As she grew older, she finally understood how rare his sincere love had been.

After returning to China, she reunites with him. Though her heart aches, she stubbornly wears a smile. "Uncle, are you married? Do you have kids?"

The next moment, the usually calm and collected man grabs her by the waist and lifts her up. His low, hoarse voice is full of barely contained anger. "Jiang He, I've spoiled you rotten."

2. At a class reunion, everyone teases Jiang He when the conversation turns to exes.

"Back then, you were a country bumpkin who couldn't appreciate the finer things. Where are you going to find another man like Wen Yu now?"

Jiang He lowers her head slightly, a trace of bitterness in her smile. "Yeah. I was too young back then."

Her friends try to comfort her, saying there's no point going back to an ex.

When the reunion ends, it's raining. A man stands at the entrance of the club holding a black umbrella, as if waiting for someone.

Hearing a sound, he raises the umbrella slightly, revealing a face as sharply sculpted as a male model's, strikingly handsome, with deep-set eyes.

Her companions' hearts skip a beat, but Jiang He's eyes light up. She bounds into his arms. "Why are you back?"

A little embarrassed, she turns to her old friends, wearing an awkward smile. "Sorry. I went back to my ex."

3. He once prayed day and night that she would turn back and look at him just once more.

This time, he won't let her get away.
