Blurb One:
This was how Yuejianshan Qinglong once planned his life.
He would be a lazy good-for-nothing who never amounted to anything, work quietly as a police officer until retirement, then spend his days with four or five close friends and a pot of tea. A peaceful, contented life.
But as the saying goes, plans never keep up with change.
After being inexplicably bound to a System, Yuejianshan Qinglong's life became like a runaway horse, charging off in a strange direction with no turning back.
When he learned that his fellow recruits would one day meet a no-survivors ending, he set out to save those troublesome friends, literally risking his life in parallel worlds. After countless Bad Ends, he finally achieved the one and only Happy End.
Blurb Two:
Adebege, the organization's notorious lunatic.
His moods were unpredictable and he was fickle. One moment, the skies were clear and he wore a radiant smile; the next, he would be holding a knife and killing your whole family.
No one knew that he had once been a promising rising star in the police force, surrounded by praise and full of youthful ambition.
Back then, the boy had been open and honest, and his past was not yet a dream he could never return to.
Warnings:
1. The police academy group, Miyano Akemi, and Ethan Hondo are all saved, but being saved doesn't mean their circumstances are good. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.
2. The villains are stronger. There will be situations where they know a great deal of the good side's intelligence, while the good side remains in the dark.
3. The protagonist isn't exactly a good person. A lot of the time, he's more villainous than the real villains. Probably chaotic good (?)
Other:
This is a revenge piece inspired by all the knife-wielding angst in Detective Conan fanfiction. It will be very angsty (certain).
The ending should count as an atypical HE. I guarantee that all the major characters survive except Rum and the Boss.
Updates when inspiration strikes.
Theme: There is no sun without shadows.
