Building a Management System from Scratch

After transmigrating to a Western fantasy world, Gu Jiaojiao, a programmer who went bald at a young age, inherited an adventurers' tavern.

Deep in the Withered Wood Forest, where no one had set foot for millennia, the newly reborn Demon King pushed open the tavern door and heard a voice from another dimension. Unable to destroy the tavern, he chose to bind the System.

Gu Jiaojiao offered the young adventurer an employment contract.

[You have hired a manager. Please assign business objectives to your manager.]

Currency System, Performance System, Task System, Shop System, Upgrade System, Branch System, Lottery System, Achievement System...

Gu Jiaojiao used the task list provided by the System to build a management System for her manager from scratch.

The young Demon King became so engrossed in running the tavern that he forgot to destroy the world. Meanwhile, in the living quarters just one wall away, Gu Jiaojiao stayed up all night writing code and calculating how many points she needed to redeem a mage package for herself.

Her employee worked hard and found joy in running the tavern. She sacrificed her hair and earned points and magic in return. A win-win.

Demon King: "Stingy System. I'll destroy it one of these days."

System: "...This isn't my fault!"

Gu Jiaojiao: "I've gotten stronger! And I've gone bald!"

On the busiest street in the royal capital, the black-haired, red-eyed manager invited the commander of the Holy Temple's knights to cut the ribbon at the newly opened branch of the Forest Tavern.

"Congratulations, Host, on the opening of your new establishment. Achievement unlocked: [Branch Opening]. Please explore your new establishment and choose a business style as soon as possible. We hope your new establishment gets up and running soon!" As Gu Jiaojiao enthusiastically congratulated her employee through the System, she cheered and pushed open the tavern's back door, stepping into a human town.
