Filling the Progress Bar in a Period Novel

Some period novels leave cliffhangers hanging for ages, never getting around to resolving them. The leads are married but still can't consummate their marriage; the true heiress keeps running into her birth parents but can't reveal who she is; the heroine doesn't know her cousin stole her spot on the college entrance exam; and the villainess, despite all her wicked deeds, won't leave the story until the very end...

Ruan Xiuxiu suddenly got a System. Entrusted by countless readers, all she had to do was move the progress bar forward and bring the satisfying moments sooner to earn rewards from the System.

One landmine was worth fifty cents, enough to buy five jin of fine flour. One grenade was worth five yuan, enough to buy five jin of pork. When a wealthy author sent a deep-water bomb, Ruan Xiuxiu went straight out and bought herself new clothes, a bicycle...

By moving the progress bar, Ruan Xiuxiu made a fortune and became the most comfortable person in Big Pig Village!

She even unwittingly stopped the village's brutish villain, Liang Shaoqian, from going down the path of corruption.

The villain failed to turn evil, but instead became the biggest big shot in the world. He blocked her way after school and pinned her against the wall with one hand.

The man had a handsome, refined face and deep eyes. An unruly smile played on his lips. "Teacher Ruan, give me a kiss, will you?"
