Chu Huai, male, 29, host at the city's traffic radio station.
Every morning, as soon as he opened his eyes, he felt as if he had already been dead for a while.
At midnight, after his night shift, Chu Huai pushed open his front door and sat on the sofa for a full half hour before letting out a long breath. Then his phone buzzed, and a news alert popped up.
"Breaking! Music superstar Shang Xingque killed in a serious car accident!"
His first reaction was hesitation. He had just mentioned the singer on his show.
His second reaction was...
His phone buzzed several more times. The radio station's manager had already shared the news in the work group and tagged him:
[@Chu Huai Sorry to ask, but please adjust tomorrow morning's program to pay tribute to Shang Xingque.]
In a rather morbid way, Chu Huai thought he might soon get to meet Shang Xingque in person.
So he stayed up all night rewriting the program. His eyes grew bleary, and he nodded off onto his desk. After lying there for five whole minutes, he lifted his head...
Had he really just seen Shang Xingque?!
...Great. He'd worked so much overtime he'd developed a psychosis.
.
Ghost, male, age unknown, no memories.
He squeezed out of the car, crushed and twisted out of shape, then dragged his broken body through the pouring rain, crawling across half the city before finally stopping.
Found. You. At. Last.
The light bulb buzzed, flickering on and off. Blood seeped across the floor and snaked around the other man's ankles. The ghost's voice was hoarse and broken:
"Chu... Huai..."
[Note] I just couldn't think of anything for the previous one, so I changed it to this.
