Zhong Yao has been unable to sleep for days. She has been taking Chinese medicine for a long time, but it hasn't helped.

Then she meets Wu Jiasi, and through a twist of fate, they spend a night together. That night, she sleeps wonderfully.

Zhong Yao feels as if she's discovered a whole new world. At daybreak, she gathers her courage and asks, "Could we... keep in touch from now on?"

She knows Wu Jiasi is aloof, and countless girls are infatuated with him.

She doesn't expect much, but Wu Jiasi suddenly pauses while buttoning his shirt, looks at her with a gentle smile, and nods.

Somehow, he seems... surprisingly approachable.

And so their relationship begins.

Once she's sure her insomnia is gone for good, she decides to put an end to this ridiculous relationship.

Feeling grateful and guilty toward Wu Jiasi, Zhong Yao carefully chooses expensive clothes, accessories, a sound system, skis, and more, all from brands he likes.

On Wu Jiasi's birthday, Zhong Yao gives him the gifts and racks her brain for compliments. At last, she brings up ending things:

"Wu Jiasi, you're such a good person. I won't bother you anymore. I hope... good things happen to good people."

The air suddenly falls silent.

Wu Jiasi had been in an excellent mood, but his eyes grow darker, and his expression is no longer as gentle as usual.

As Zhong Yao stares at him in a daze, he suddenly lowers his head and bites her earlobe. His voice is full of dangerous irritation. "Yao Yao, you can use me as a sleeping pill, but if you throw me away once you're done... you'll have to be punished."
