Buy One Mulled Wine, Get One Free

On Christmas Eve, a little bar offered couples a buy-one-get-one-free deal on hot mulled wine.

Jiang Jiu was alone. She looked around, then decided to find the handsome guy beside her in a turtleneck and gold-rimmed glasses...

And take advantage of the deal together.

Before long, Jiang Jiu and the handsome guy became close friends who could talk about anything (crossed out: buddies), and they often went out for drinks.

Though secretly, she had designs on him.

Jiang Jiu had a client at work who was incredibly picky and difficult. She often complained to the handsome guy about this client, whom she'd never met.

But lately, she found the client increasingly easy to deal with. Sometimes, he even checked in on her and asked how she was doing.

Jiang Jiu panicked, thinking the difficult client was interested in her. She tactfully warned him, "Company policy says we can't date clients."

Not long afterward, the handsome guy came to her studio and asked with a smile, "So, do you want to date your client now?"
