The Demon Manager Only Wants to Be a Contented Corporate Drone

Xize is a demon, and also a hard-working corporate drone.

Even after transmigrating into a book, his life doesn't change at all. After all, the fanfic plot has nothing to do with him.

By day, in a white shirt and suit pants, he rides his electric scooter straight to the office and works as an ordinary, boring, utterly forgettable talent agent.

By night, he takes off his glasses, runs a hand through his hair, and goes hunting for high-quality souls at bars.

Under the pressure of working two jobs like this, Xize grows dazed and loses track of day and night. At last, one day, he wanders into a bar in his white shirt and suit pants, barely aware of what he's doing.

Only after people keep hitting on him does Xize realize:

So this is what humans are into?

With so many people trying to get him into bed, Xize flees in the confusion. He's a demon, not a succubus! He feeds on souls, not ■■!

However, after casually saving the protagonist seme Fu Nie that night, he gets swept into the story's plot. The performer he's responsible for inexplicably goes from an obscure nobody to Fu Nie himself.

Xize: What a pain. :)

That's because the author of the book is a hater of the protagonist seme, and wrote it as a satirical fanfic.

To live a peaceful life in this crazy entertainment-industry novel, Xize pretends to be a shipper of the protagonist couple. Whenever the seme and shou get caught doing something or people start speculating about their relationship, he takes the blame for everything.

But he never expected that one day, the demon's face, beautiful enough to make him a top-tier star, would be exposed to the public.

In the blink of an eye, he himself has become a top star.

And the protagonist seme isn't following the plot either.

Xize: Thanks for asking. I just want to quietly be a corporate drone.

After transmigrating into a book, Fu Nie calmly goes on living just as he always has. After all, this is his own fanfic.

He becomes an award-winning actor, makes films and TV dramas, and spars with the inexplicable
