Can You Really Never Forget Your First Love?

Question: Do people really never forget their first love?

Top-voted answer:

-Thanks for the invite. I'm at the Air Traffic Control Center, just got off a jump ship.

-I'm an employee of the Interstellar Romance Management Center, so I think I'm pretty qualified to answer this.

-In five years on the job, I've been assigned to three partners in all.

-My first was the young ruler of the Kansa Plane. He had just lost the protection of his parents, and I helped the poor kid secure his throne. At his anniversary celebration, he gave me the title of godfather.

Looking back, I still feel pretty bad about it. I left without a word on his birthday.

-My second was a nightmare.

Come to think of it, nightmares are born without much of a moral compass. He was the most gifted nightmare in the entire universe, and I really went through a lot to raise him right.

-My third was the lost god of Trodys. We met at the edge of the Abyssal Strait. At the time, he was wondering whether to jump down and become a demon.

-I swear on my character that I had a positive and constructive influence on every one of their lives.

-As for whether they still think of me... well, that remains to be seen.

After all, every time a mission ended, I rushed straight back to the Main God Space.

-The technology for jumping from secondary to higher-level spaces is still underdeveloped. In this vast, boundless universe, I don't think we'll ever meet again.

Top comment 1: I can't believe this answer is from six months ago.

Does the answerer know the Adam Smith Company recently released a new jump technology? The Jump Act is going into effect next month.

Top comment 2: The public interstellar network has already been built in every sub-plane. I heard that the Lord of Kansa, some powerful and mysterious unnamed nightmare, and... the Demon King of the Abyssal Strait are all desperately searching for someone online.

...I never expected they were all looking for the same person.

Top comment 3: Answerer, you're in danger!
