Because She Was Beautiful [Republican Era]

Su Jin is the cherished young lady of a warlord family that holds sway over the south.

And yet she falls for the cold adjutant who kneels on the ground beside her older brother to receive punishment.

He won't even look her in the eye, so she is determined to make herself the only thing he sees and thinks about.

The dormant Wolf King sinks his teeth into the fragile, pitiful little rabbit, yet can't bring himself to bite down.

Faced with her provocations, he gives way again and again, only for her to trample over his limits time after time...

Then he'll swallow her whole. Now that you've provoked me, don't even think about escaping!

Since she loves herself, it seems to make no difference whether the ending is good or bad.
