The Real Booze Was Forced to Water Itself Down

“Why did you betray the organization?”

With a cold gun barrel aimed at him, Asaba Chuan looked at Gin's icy stare and Vodka's conflicted expression, then let out a deep sigh.

If I told you yesterday's good guys were the Hero Association and the bad guys were the Monster Association, and that the world would have been destroyed if I hadn't betrayed it along the way, would you believe me?

Asaba Chuan, a laid-back undercover agent in the liquor store, suddenly awakened a strange ability on his eighteenth birthday.

Specifically, every day he would end up in a new world, and the worlds were all connected to one another.

For example, yesterday he sold out some man-eating demon with multicolored eyes, and today the liquor store lost a top operative. Today he passed some information to the good guys, and tomorrow someone from the Special Division for Unusual Powers would show up to thank him, a member of the Port Mafia.

Asaba Chuan: ...

I really just wanted to take it easy and coast through life!

One day after awakening this ability, Asaba Chuan opened his eyes to find a certain elementary school detective giving him a complicated look and thanking him for saving his life the day before.

Now thoroughly exposed as a fake, he desperately tried to remember what he'd done yesterday, and finally recalled that he might have helped a certain bald caped hero swat a mosquito.

Wait, what?

How did that get converted into the same thing?

※ It's not quite accurate, but you can think of it as the same game loading different mods? The save file is still there, but the art style has changed.
