Four couples, each told in its own one-on-one story arc. The main perspective is that of the four Su sisters. When one sister's story is being told, the others automatically become supporting characters.

① Angsty Romance: A pragmatic CEO who puts her career first X a possessive, jealous romantic who is hopelessly in love

The eldest Su daughter had spent years immersed in high society. She once dated a college student who was young, passionate, and funny. She could be a little childish, but she wasn't annoying.

But as the relationship went on, her girlfriend grew increasingly possessive and controlling. Around that time, her parents died in a plane crash, and the company was eyed by greedy rivals from every direction. The eldest Su daughter was busy around the clock, and her lover's childish immaturity only wore her down further, so she broke up with her.

As they parted, her girlfriend ran after her car through the pouring rain, but she never looked back.

Three years later, the eldest Su daughter met her former lover again at a gathering of up-and-coming elites. No longer youthful and impulsive, the woman was now distant, cold, and tight-lipped, like a block of ice that could never be warmed.
