A Qing came to Hangzhou with his uncle to broaden his horizons and discovered a Gu box inside Wu Shan Ju. Since he had not yet learned how to remove a Burial Gu, A Qing wanted to take it home, but he did not have enough money and could only give up.
Wu Xie took over the Gu box and was parasitized. Tormented day and night by the Burial Gu, he began to suffer from auditory and visual hallucinations. Just as he was nearing his limit, Xiao Ge arrived unexpectedly.
After learning what had happened while Wu Xie was unconscious, Xiao Ge began searching for a solution and eventually found A Qing's home.
On the way to the Miao village, the fog and Burial Gu combined, trapping Wu Xie deep in a dream. Xiao Ge had no choice but to carry him through the night to the village and stay at A Qing's house.
Pieced together from Xiao Ge's scattered words, the dream began to conjure scenes so convincing that Wu Xie never suspected they were false.
In the dream, Wu Xie and Zhang Qiling went to the Miao village. Grandma died, A Qing was cold and distant, and an old shaman held a ceremony in an open field... Everything Wu Xie encountered felt strange and wrong, a feeling that continued until he fell off a cliff, landed in a pool, and met Xiao Ge again.
Will Wu Xie, trapped deep in the dream, realize that he has feelings he never even noticed himself, because of the Xiao Ge who has taken physical form?
