Impossible to Win Over

People always say childhood sweethearts can't compare to someone who appears out of nowhere, but to Jiang Yu, his childhood friend is the best. It's just that his heart is as hard as stone and impossible to win over.

Jiang Yu has been eyeing his childhood friend since kindergarten. His friend is beautiful and "kind," always shining so brightly that he dazzles everyone around him. Wherever he goes, he's the brightest star in the crowd. After entering university, he shines even more. Jiang Yu feels like he can barely keep him to himself, while one glamorous rival after another keeps appearing. Sigh, when will his straight childhood friend finally be his? He's so hard to win over.

Lately, more and more strangers have been appearing around Jiang Yu. They approach him under plausible pretenses, show him affection, flirt with him, and confess to him, like a swarm of deranged butterflies caught in a gale. The strangest thing is that the people around him act familiar with these sudden arrivals, as if their appearance is no surprise. Jiang Yu feels like he's the only abnormal person in the whole world.

Gu Junchen frowned as he dealt with yet another outsider trying to conquer the world. More and more conquest players had been gathering around Jiang Yu lately, and it was making him extremely irritated. He knew that after repeated failed attempts to conquer it, this world had risen from a D-rank to an S-rank, attracting more and more conquest players to invade. But... the world he had cleared and protected wasn't a place where just anyone could run wild. Besides, anyone who interrupted him while he was cuddling up to his childhood friend was asking to die.

Conquest players: This world is way too hard to conquer!!

P.S.:

1. A pseudo-infinite-world story about outsiders trying to conquer this world's protagonist.

2. The author's writing is limited (bows). If it's not to your taste, just close the page. Everyone wins.

3. The characters are not based on real people.

4. The uke is a bit of a hopeless romantic.

Powerful, cleared-the-game, feigning-composure, flirtatious seme (Gu) X sunshine, hopeless romantic, drama-queen uke (Jiang)

A work written while getting back into writing. I haven't written in a long time, so the writing is amateurish. If you don't like it, please don't flame me; just close the page.
