★ I will revise the novel from time to time, mainly to refine awkward wording and sentences that feel abrupt, as well as clarify confusing shifts in perspective. ★
[An unconventional "military academy," related plot starts in Volume Three / a touch of ensemble cast]
Su Mang transmigrated into a doomed supporting female character in a melodramatic post-apocalyptic novel.
She had a crush on the male lead, protected the female lead, and was used and exploited by the two of them until there was nothing left. In the end, she died horribly, without even a body left behind.
Su Mang's fists clenched.
After the virus outbreak, her classmates screamed and huddled together. The male lead, full of himself and acting like a chuuni, ordered Su Mang to open the door and check outside.
Su Mang had just locked the classroom door and shut the windows. "If you want to die, open it yourself. I won't stop you."
Zombies were about to break in. Her classmates were searching for their phones to contact their families, while the male lead mocked Su Mang for talking big without doing anything.
Su Mang stepped on the desks and darted to the front row in seconds to block the door. "You're definitely better at that than I am."
The zombies broke in. Her classmates clutched chairs and rackets, trembling. The female lead shook and spoke despairingly.
Su Mang gripped her tennis racket and struck quickly and accurately. "Then why don't you just stop living?"
Her classmates were grateful that Su Mang had saved their lives. They looked at her with starry eyes and practically wanted to put her on a pedestal.
They thought Su Mang had helped them out of friendship and heroism.
But just a few steps past the school gates, they ran into a rescue team.
Su Mang took off running, leaving them with just one line: "Take care. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!"
Her classmates' hearts shattered.
They refused to face the cruel reality that she only cared about saving her own life, and saving them had just been a bonus.
Classmates: Su Mang is such a cold, heartless woman, sob sob sob, but I still love her so much. What do I do!
When Su Mang first arrived at the S City survivor base,
no one paid any attention to the pale, frail, petite Su Mang.
Even when they saw her at the training camp, her fellow trainees mocked her mercilessly.
That is, until the sparring tournament. Su Mang swept past everyone and decisively threw her opponent to the ground.
The boy kneeling there saw
her standing against the light, shaking out her hand. Her gaze swept coolly over him and landed on the group behind him.
"Next."
"She is an eagle newly hatched, needing only a cliff from which to spread her wings and soar across the sky."
[Extra Scene]
Long after Su Mang disappeared,
her classmates traveled from place to place, exchanging information but finding no clues.
They all thought she was dead.
They put up a memorial stone for Su Mang outside the gates of F City No. 32 Middle School,
and visited it to pay their respects every time they passed through F City.
When they met again later,
Su Mang wore the same smile and spoke in the same calm tone as she had on the day the apocalypse began.
"I heard you put up a memorial stone for me."
"..."
"So you couldn't even wait until I was in my coffin before arranging my funeral?"
"..."
[Reading Tips]
1. See the author's note in Chapter One for detailed information before reading.
[For the best reading experience, please support the official release. Pirated copies may contain bugs the author has not fixed, while the official version does not. The table of contents also has labels that let you quickly check the author's notes.]
2. Catlike heroine × doglike hero. Both are in their senior year of high school and are adults. They don't fall for each other or team up when they first appear. They start out as complete strangers.
3. Strong female lead. Not pure wish fulfillment. No supernatural powers in the apocalypse. A mountain of original worldbuilding.
4. The original male and female leads won't die right away. They separate soon, but after they reunite, they will keep causing trouble for a while. They'll both get what they deserve in the end.
5. The classmates are not major supporting characters.
6. Blurb dated 2022.8.6. I'm terrible at writing blurbs, so it may be revised again.
7. If it's not to your taste, stop reading in time.
8. The cover character designs are licensed from the artist and may be used again.
Theme: Live for yourself.
Oh my God, hehehe, so smart! What kind of little genius is this?
Chen Tao is a five-star star. He praises the children of the Falcon Team and his little sister!! The sun came out here today. It's really rare. I lay in the yard with my puppy and basked in the sun and looked at the sea. Congratulations!! Debao, thank you for your hard work——
Oh my God, I feel so bad for Sister Mang. It's really hard to guard against being thought about by bad people for a long time.
I've finished reading it. I really like Falcon Squad and other cute and interesting people. When I'm watching it, I'll often read the comments. The author's replies are all so cute hahaha????????????
It's really beautiful. Come on!
It's half past four. As expected, novels are easy to get addicted to. I've gone to bed and have to go to work today (Out of Body Body. Jpg)
One of the few people who have fully booked and didn't jump to read it, please leave a comment to record it.
Finished reading, scatter flowers? The ending/epilogue is really heartwarming and touching. As soon as I turned around, I was a little surprised to find that this book had been secretly finished in the corner of my favorites. The author seemed to be the first person to reply to me after I came to Jinjiang. It made me happy for a long time. Thank you very much for allowing me to read such a wonderful novel.
Well written, Madam! God is so unjust!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! O3O
