My interstellar novel, No Slacking Allowed, is now available →
Novel blurb:
After waking up one day, Ming Yue Ye, the spirit of a divine sword, had become Xu Jiao, a powerless first-year university student in the apocalypse.
She set foot on this unfamiliar, ruined land, holding fast to the righteous path in her heart and reaching out to help countless people.
Some were grateful. Others repaid kindness with hostility.
The cruel, indifferent reality taught her how the world worked.
At the same time, her overwhelming strength proved that no scheme or cunning could bridge the gulf between people of different abilities.
She was born to rule.
Short scene:
The members of the Apocalypse's most famous team, “Oblivion,” were utterly outrageous.
Rumor had it that wherever their captain went, a safe zone appeared.
Rumor had it that their healer's favorite pastime was feeding the mutated creatures.
Rumor had it that both their support players...
So why were the support players the ones fighting?!
[Reader's Guide]
*I'll continue fixing typos and revising the novel from time to time, but the overall plot won't change much. Feel free to point out any bugs you notice! Thanks for reading! I check the comments now and then.
1. This is my first novel. The first and second volumes may be a bit difficult to get through. If it's not for you, feel free to stop reading.
2. Team-focused, ability-based apocalypse story. The heroine vastly outclasses everyone.
3. A ruthless, taciturn, naturally dark heroine x a cocky guy who can annoy the life out of people
4. My novel A Military Academy Story in Another World [Zombies] is now available. Catlike heroine x doglike hero, strong female lead, leveling-up story, slow burn, medium-long novel.
Synopsis:
Su Mang transmigrated into a clichéd apocalypse novel as the unlucky second female lead.
She had a crush on the male lead, protected the heroine, and was used up by both of them.
In the end, she died horribly, without even leaving a complete body behind.
Su Mang clenched her fists.
After the virus broke out, her classmates screamed and huddled together. The male lead got carried away with his dramatic speeches and ordered Su Mang to open the door and check outside.
Su Mang had just locked the classroom door and shut the windows. “If you want to die, open it. I won't stop you.”
With zombies about to get in, the students searched for their phones so they could contact their families. The male lead mocked Su Mang for talking big without experience.
Su Mang stepped on the desks, darted to the front in seconds, and blocked the door. “You're definitely better at that than I am.”
The zombies burst through the door. The students trembled, clutching chairs and ping-pong paddles. The heroine shivered and made a gloomy remark.
Su Mang gripped her ping-pong paddle and struck quickly and accurately. “Then why don't you stop living?”
The students were grateful to Su Mang for saving their lives. They looked at her with stars in their eyes and wanted to put her on a pedestal.
They thought Su Mang had saved them out of camaraderie and heroism.
But just a few steps outside the school, they encountered a rescue team.
Su Mang took off running, leaving them with only one parting remark: “Have a nice trip. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!”
The students' hearts shattered.
They couldn't face the cruel reality that she was only trying to save herself, and saving them had merely been a side effect.
The students: Su Mang is such a cold, heartless woman, sob sob, but I still love her so much. What do I do?!
When Su Mang first arrived at the survivor base in S City,
no one paid any attention to her pale, frail, petite appearance.
Even when they saw her at the training camp, her fellow trainees mocked her mercilessly.
That was until the tournament, when Su Mang passed everyone and decisively threw her opponent to the ground.
The boy kneeling there saw the girl, backlit, shake out her hand.
Her cool gaze swept over him and settled on the group behind him.
“Next.”
[She is a newly hatched eagle. All she needs is a cliff, and she can spread her wings and soar through the sky.]
[Short scene]
Long after Su Mang disappeared,
the classmates traveled from place to place, exchanging information, but found no trace of her.
They all thought Su Mang was dead.
They put up a gravestone for Su Mang in front of the gates of No. 32 Middle School in F City.
Whenever they passed through F City, they went to pay their respects.
When they reunited at last,
Su Mang wore a peaceful smile, just as she had on the day the apocalypse began.
“I heard you put up a gravestone for me.”
“...”
“So you were in such a hurry to bury me before I was even in my coffin?”
“...”
Theme: After the darkness, dawn will surely come.
Well. It's good to create a plot conflict to make the heroine leave. But whether a person is strong or not can be seen from his daily battles. Why did everyone in the team think the heroine was mediocre before the conflict? Can only "mid-level" represent strength? The first time the heroine appeared to kill a bear, it was absolutely amazing and established the impression of a strong person. How could she be forgotten so quickly after being saved at a life-or-death moment? Or do you just underestimate it because you haven't seen it with your own eyes? I feel like this kind of "contempt - accusation" makes me uncomfortable with logic. What I really like about the author's great portrayal of Sun Qiuyue is that she cares about her teammates. For example, she was relieved to see the heroine come back safely. Her crazy output is actually understandable. After all, it is normal for people's thoughts and emotions to change when their own interests are harmed in a stressful and depressing environment. However, her behavior of asking others to sacrifice themselves to save the team is so different from her previous image of "sympathizing with the girl" and "caring about the heroine", which made my expectations very different. The heroine was forced to withdraw by letting Sun Qiuyue do all the damage by herself, and it felt like the other teammates were just decorations; they took it for granted that the heroine couldn't beat those people, and they didn't have the IQ to survive in the apocalypse. And the subsequent speculation that the heroine was strong enough was an afterthought. Since we can think of why no corresponding action was taken, it is also suspicious. The above are some confusions in my reading. I hope the author can write better and better!
Wow, thank you for your hard work. You had a hard time writing the book!
Things are getting interesting~ (There is a wicked smile in the eyes that is one part disdainful, one part cold and six parts expectant)
Congratulations to the heroine for opening a new copy! Throw flowers!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, these people are so cute, I love this kind of team story so muchヽ(爱??'爱)ノ
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
At this moment, it is announced that Ling Yan, Xu Mu, and Ling Xu are defeated.
Will they change teammates? Changdong is so annoying to watch.
Hasn't Sun Qiuyue's superpower been abolished?
After reading it, although I feel that the ending is a little too fast-paced, overall it is really a treasure. I like the heroine hahaha, yyds for the team!!!
