Genshin Impact: I Transmigrated to Teyvat and Vowed to Farm on Watatsumi Island

Ha! She opened and closed her eyes, and just like that, a good bunny from the new century had become a fish on Watatsumi Island.

The newly appointed shrine maiden of Watatsumi Island, Mizuhara Nana, was devastated.

She'd said she wanted to transmigrate to Teyvat, but she'd much rather go to Liyue than Inazuma! What Traveler doesn't know Inazuma is a hellhole? The Sakoku Decree, the Vision Hunt Decree, thunderstorms, Tatarigami, Musoujin Gorge, the Thunderbird...

But what could she do? You have to live in the present!

Determined to find her zest for life again, Mizuhara Nana decided to improve her circumstances. Since she couldn't leave Watatsumi Island for the free city-state or the land of contracts, she could only take matters into her own hands and transform Watatsumi Island!

She'd start by making the island self-sufficient in food!

...Take that back. Mizuhara Nana put down her hoe in despair. Why was the soil so cursed? Why wouldn't anything grow?

Traveler! Hurry up and come here! I don't want to fight the Shogunate Army anymore!

Reading Guide:

The protagonist is Hydro, and a shrine maiden of Sangonomiya.

Although farming is mentioned in the title and blurb, the protagonist isn't good at farming and doesn't do any infrastructure building (probably). It's basically the everyday life of a shrine maiden on Watatsumi Island.

Second-person narration, all the protagonist's rambling, kind of weird.

There are major canon changes, original elements, bugs, OOC, timeline inconsistencies, an overpowered protagonist, irregular updates, and bad writing. If any of that bothers you, run! Don't stay here and hurt your eyes! If this causes you emotional distress, I apologize. Now go, don't torture yourself here!

Theme: Live in the present and stay positive.
