[Genshin Impact] Could a Good-for-Nothing Demon God Meet Rex Lapis?

(Although this title sounds like some kind of romance novel, it's actually a raising-a-kid story!)

Ximi Suotesi is a demon god.

...But if you think that makes them some kind of powerful figure, you're very wrong!

They're completely useless. Even the Salt Archon could pin them down and rub them into the ground, though she wouldn't actually do that.

My boss is the Vortex Archon, and my enemy is the Geo Archon. How long can I possibly survive?

But one day, Ximi Suotesi opened and closed their eyes and found themselves two thousand years in the future. Right after they transmigrated, they heard that the Geo Archon had passed away.

Ximi Suotesi: ...Yes! Boss, boss, your nemesis is dead!

But things weren't so simple. Ximi Suotesi then heard that their boss had crawled out of the sea, only to be knocked right back in by a brutal human.

Ximi Suotesi: ...QAQ

Adrift on the streets with nothing to eat, Ximi Suotesi, a mighty demon god, had to fight dogs for a place to sleep.

But humans weren't just brutal. Some of them were so kind! They gave them food, clothes, and a place to live!

Ximi Suotesi (thinking about what to say according to human customs): ...Dad!

Zhong Morax Li had only helped because he couldn't bear to see a demon god in such a miserable state, but now he had somehow gained a kid. He thought: ...Maybe I shouldn't tell them who I am. What if I scare the kid to death?

Reader's guide:

1. The protagonist is a little good-for-nothing. They're the Mist Archon, but also a rock-dragon wyrm, and they're incredibly weak. The Vortex Archon bullies them (meaning they release mist on the battlefield to look impressive). Poor thing.

2. The protagonist is kind of an idiot, so don't expect them to figure out that their newly adopted dad is the Geo Archon. Heh.

3. The protagonist's identity is actually not that simple... Maybe? I think it's pretty easy to guess.

4. There are some headcanons, out-of-character moments, bugs, and plot holes. I'm currently researching the original lore.
