I wrote this before signing a contract, as far back as 2020. Back then, I finished updating it on sheer enthusiasm alone, under the pen names Qin Zixi, Jiuniang Caicaizi, A Jiu Sleep-Deprived, and others. This novel has already been pirated. There's no doubt that anything you find online is what I wrote back then. It's awful that even an unsigned novel got stolen. But this publication has been thoroughly revised, and differs quite a bit from the original version. Please treat this version as the definitive one. I kept all the screenshots I could find, including screenshots from before I used the pen name ZS, the first rejection message from an editor, and screenshots of me promoting the novel on Weibo.
