He introduces himself as Feng Qi and says that all these strange events started because of him... And so Ji Yanzhi is recruited into the Paranormal Special Task Force, where his boss is the King of Ghosts of Fengdu, and his coworkers are Black and White Impermanence. Running into ghosts and catching them gradually become part of his everyday work... Ji Yanzhi: I am so freaking done! [Bonus Scene] Standing in the moonlight, Feng Qi looks at Ji Yanzhi with glowing red eyes and says coldly, "If you behave, I'll keep you safe." Ji Yanzhi nods frantically, sneaking a glance at Black and White Impermanence behind Feng Qi. "If I don't behave, are you going to have them take me away?" [Tips] 1. [Important note after the blurb!] I wrote this story in the second half of 2020. I had to stop updating for a while because I was busy with work, then resumed and finished it in the second half of 2021. The story was originally titled "You May Not Believe This, But My Eight Characters Are Pure Yin," then changed to "The King of Ghosts Invites Me to Catch Ghosts." When I was posting it, I used pen names including Jiuniang Caicaizi and Qin Zixi. While the story was being updated, a few lovely readers followed along and sent me over 150 bottles of nutrient solution between them. I'm very grateful to them. I hope I can find them again someday and thank them for their support, which gave me the motivation to keep going. I've now successfully signed a contract. All of the above happened before I signed. Last year, I decided to try signing a contract again, so I closed my old account and started over. I hadn't considered that even unsigned stories could be stolen. When I reopened another old story, I found a huge number of pirated copies. I haven't found any pirated copies of this story online so far, but that doesn't mean none exist. To be safe and avoid readers getting the wrong idea, I'm writing this note. I am the original author of this story. If you find a story online with the same title and content as the one I just described, it is pirated. Luckily, I kept the original manuscript, backup drafts, outline, the short-story prototype I once posted on Weibo, and a screenshot of my first rejected contract application. I also recorded a video proving my authorship, which I'll post on Weibo. I wrote this story one word at a time, so even if I have to add tens of thousands of words before it can be removed from the ranking restriction, I still want to publish it.
