Fujiwara Hoshi is mixed-race, with half a yokai's blood.

The people Fujiwara Hoshi sees through his eyes look the way they did when they died.

So Fujiwara Hoshi doesn't want to get close to people.

Then he's adopted by a kind couple, and meets adorable yokai and his gentle, kind younger brother.

Then, at the police academy, he meets five strange guys.

These five barge into his world, making Fujiwara Hoshi unable to resist opening his eyes to see their future.

Afterward, Fujiwara Hoshi solemnly pats one of them, his dark-skinned, blond-haired friend, on the shoulder and tells him with a pained expression to keep it up.

In the end, Fujiwara Hoshi sets out on a one-way journey to pull his friends one by one out of certain death...
