How I Became Mori Ogai's Ability and Alice

Hello, everyone. My name is Yan Bei, an ordinary office worker from 2019. My best friend Jian Yang and I died in an unbelievable car accident.

But! When I opened my eyes, I found I had become Mori Ogai's ability manifestation, Elise! This is bad! Will I even survive a single episode?

I immediately calmed down and began my little-girl act, which would last who knows how long...

Hmm... First, I'll fool Mori the scumbag, then pick up a little Dazai to raise, and casually instill some proper values in him...

Darn it! This little rabbit Dazai is kind of cute! He even blushes! A-amazing!

*Elise gets a new setting, and later she'll have her own ability, called "Alice in Wonderland." Look forward to it!

Excerpt from an ability scene:

"Sir, have you seen my Mr. Rabbit? I lost my Mr. Rabbit..."

"Mr. Rabbit?" you ask. "He's a rabbit holding a pocket watch!" The little girl looks so flustered she seems about to cry. You hear her mutter softly, "It's all that silly Rintaro's fault..."

Nearby, a comical rabbit in a tailcoat, holding a pocket watch, stands beside a black hole that looks like a space-time tunnel.

It keeps looking around and shrieking, "Oh! My God! I'm going to be late!"

At last, after searching everywhere, Alice spots it and cries out... The rabbit seems to trigger some mechanism, then hops into the hole with a plop and disappears.

The girl strolls lightly over to the hole. She no longer looks the least bit flustered, and a sweet, innocent smile appears on her face. She looks at you with clear eyes:

"Welcome to Alice's Wonderland."

"Come play with me, sir!"

The protagonist is male (Yan Bei) but becomes female (Alice).

No CP: All relationships in the story are platonic or familial (but if you really want to ship them, I can't stop you /shrugs). A healing story.

I wrote this because I hope the many characters with unhappy childhoods in this anime I love can also experience happiness and warmth. (Mori is still a scumbag at first, but he gets better later and genuinely cares for Elise and Dazai.)

There are some headcanons, but nothing too significant (for example, Dazai Osamu's ability, No Longer Human, can be controlled). Please be understanding if there are any logical problems (sob).

There may be some out-of-character moments, since the characters are portrayed as I see them.

P.S. The author is very, very young (currently in eighth grade), so there may be some issues with the writing and ideas QAQ. Please be understanding. The early writing is really bad, because the first few chapters were written casually when I was in seventh grade.
