Your Highness, You're So Sweet

A sweet little girl from Miaojiang and a disgraced crown prince who never lets a slight go unanswered

After his army is defeated, Lou Yuche falls from crown prince to Prince Xuan, and everyone avoids him like a ghost.

Three years later, the emperor grants a general amnesty, allowing Prince Xuan to attend a banquet at the palace.

At the banquet, someone points to Wen Funing and asks Lou Yuche, "Your Highness, what do you think of that priestess?"

The young man in red looks at Wen Funing and smiles over his cup. "A little witch from Miaojiang. Aren't you afraid she'll poison you if you get involved with her?"

That night, the emperor decrees that Wen Funing and Lou Yuche are to marry.

Though Wen Funing marries Lou Yuche, she is actually there to keep him under the emperor's watch. She is often stern, and Lou Yuche always teases her for being as stiff as a block of wood.

Until one day, she gets drunk and keeps pestering Lou Yuche.

"Your Highness, I want peach pastries."

"Your Highness, I want to fly a kite."

"Your Highness, I want..."

Lou Yuche has never known Wen Funing to talk so much. As he ties up her hair, he says with a headache, "Don't wish for anything at all..."

Wen Funing murmurs, "Oh... I was going to say I want to kiss you."

Lou Yuche: "Next time, just kiss me. You don't need to ask."

The truth behind the coup is finally revealed, and Lou Yuche's name is cleared. Some say Wen Funing is unworthy of him and that they should divorce.

But only Wen Funing knows that Lou Yuche is currently buried in the crook of her neck, murmuring, "A divorce? What will you do after we divorce?"

Wen Funing: "Go back to Miaojiang and carry on playing with my gu."

Lou Yuche's cold hand strokes the girl's face. "Have you forgotten? We're the same kind. Rather than play with gu, why not play with me?"

--Never even think of leaving--
