Name: The Protagonist's Love Interest Won't Stop Chasing Me
Author: He Zhuo

Synopsis

Once a world champion, Jiang Mo is now destitute. At death's door, he transmigrates into a book and becomes the fake young master in its pages.

The true young master, the main character, returns, and the original owner is kicked out of his home. With no skills to speak of, he joins a dating reality show.

An eight-person stage that is really the story of the main character and his six suitors. Having committed every sort of misdeed, the original owner becomes a universally despised cannon-fodder character.

When Jiang Mo arrives, his agent has just handed him the cannon-fodder script. He's supposed to follow it and make the main character look good.

Jiang Mo: Can I just not do it?

Agent: The penalty for breaking your contract is five million. Do a good job and I'll give you another hundred thousand.

Jiang Mo: I'll do it!!!

When the show starts, the male guests all shower the main character with attention. Jiang Mo sticks to his script, just like in the original novel, and viewers compare him to the main character.

The other guests go out of their way to avoid Jiang Mo, but the number-one top in the book, movie star Chi, can't seem to stay away from him.

Even Chi's fans notice. Why does their idol look at Jiang Mo so... obsessively?

#Chi Yu x Jiang Mo# trends, and the eagle-eyed fans spring into action:

Chi Yu, who rarely smiles, only smiles at Jiang Mo. He only looks out for Jiang Mo. His eyes are glued to Jiang Mo every second...

Chi Yu is the one making all the moves. What's so great about Jiang Mo?

From Chi Yu's point of view:

Jiang Mo's smile is so sweet.

When they're playing games, Jiang Mo is the only one who looks at Chi Yu with concern.

When Jiang Mo gets scared, he rushes straight to Chi Yu and grabs hold of him...

“Waaah, they're so sweet. Who the hell wouldn't be obsessed?”

“Can I please have a cute little kitty like that?”

“Movie star Chi has impeccable taste.”

“Sorry, I get it now.”

-

After the two get together, gossip breaks that movie star Chi is cheating with Wish, the rising star jungler.

In the photos, a familiar white head peeks out from Chi's arms. That pose...

The fans stare, wide-eyed and unable to believe it.

How could Wish, the husband who dominates the esports stage, possibly be movie star Chi's little kitty?!

#Damn, did my husband become someone else's wife?#

[Reading Guide]

1. A game-playing, super-cool bottom who is usually sweet and naive, but occasionally a natural-born schemer x an extremely possessive, hopelessly besotted, straightforward top. The bottom is 170 cm, the top is 193 cm, with a huge size difference. The top is eight years older.

2. Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting. The top is in show business. After finishing the dating show, the bottom leaves the industry to become a pro gamer. The top pursues the bottom, falls for him at first sight, and then falls deeper in love at their next meeting.

3. A fluffy, sweet romance with little logic. If it's not to your taste, please stop reading. No need to tell me you're dropping it. Wishing you a happy life!

Sweet Stories with Mutual Devotion

I like to keep things balanced, though this list leans toward strong/weak pairings. Kinks: nonhuman characters and size differences. Mostly lighthearted slice-of-life. No top- or bottom-focused preferences. I avoid melodrama, groveling exes, and harems centered on one character.

Hehehe (All Completed, Sweet BL)

Sweet stories with great writing, aaah, they’re absolutely amazing and so my thing. They have substance and are sweet, too. I left out some of the ones that get recommended everywhere.
