Becoming a Pillar of the Organization in the Detective Conan World

*This story will go premium at midnight on May 3, with 10,000 words of updates.

1.

My boss told me to go undercover. I said I'd never done it before and didn't know what an undercover agent was supposed to look like.

So my boss recommended a game, saying it might help.

The game was called True or False Liquor Company. It sounded like it was about selling alcohol, but it was actually a mafia game.

2.

Honestly, I thought my boss had lost his mind, though I still went and played it.

Things went smoothly at first, until I ran into an NPC who looked exactly like a friend of mine in real life. Then I realized it might actually be my real-life friend.

Me: ?

I asked, "You play this game too?"

He said, "No. We've transmigrated."

So I turned around and realized that I really had transmigrated.

3.

Fortunately, thanks to my smarts, I was doing pretty well in the game's Black Organization.

The Boss trusted me a lot. When he offered to assign me some subordinates, I named three not-quite-pure bottles of whiskey.

The Boss tactfully asked if that was a bit much. I said it wasn't, and that I wanted those three.

The Boss fell silent for a while, then asked me, "You like that type?"

I nodded.

Then somehow, word got out, and the whole organization started saying I had an ambiguous relationship with the Whiskey Trio.

Vermouth told me, "As long as you're happy."

Me: ?

4.

The Whiskey Trio was assigned a new boss with the codename Gennese.

They knew very little about their new boss. After spending some time with him, they discovered that Gennese really liked holding meetings with them.

"Is everyone here?"

A calm voice reached their ears, tinged with static.

"Rye." "Here."

"Bourbon." "Here."

"Scotch." "Here."

After the reluctant roll call, their new boss said:

"Good, everyone's here. Let's discuss the topic of today's online meeting."

The Whiskey Trio pricked up their ears in unison.

"I've decided to hold a debate. The topic is: Which is more useless, the FBI or the Japanese Public Security Bureau?"

"I'll draw lots for the two sides... Ah, Rye, you're arguing for the affirmative: the FBI is more useless."

Rye: "..."

"Scotch, you're on the negative side. Your position is that the Japanese Public Security Bureau is more useless."

Scotch: "..."

Tips:

* The heroine is a genuine member of the organization, not an undercover agent.

* The heroine belongs to the chaotic faction.

* There is a little romantic interest, which is almost the same as none.

* An original character group transmigrates together.

Theme: A person's life only has meaning when they live it as themselves.
