Summer Never Falls

[Blurb]

Shen Yuhui had spent sixteen years living a charmed life, as if she had been raised in a honey pot. She never imagined she'd ever lose her footing.

Then, one summer, she went to a mountain resort to escape the heat and met Feng Xia.

The boy was smart, came from a good family, and was even better-looking. Even Shen Yuhui, accustomed to being the center of attention, couldn't help sneaking a few glances at him.

Half a month later, just before they parted, she mustered her courage and slipped a small note into Feng Xia's hand.

Her late-summer crush came to nothing. Even after the vacation ended, she never received a friend request from Feng Xia.

Instead, she heard that two of A City's top high schools were merging.

On the first day of school, her new deskmate propped up his chin and held out his palm to her.

Looking at the handsome face that had made her miserable all summer, Shen Yuhui snapped, "What, want me to read your palm? Two hundred and fifty. Double if we're strangers."

Feng Xia smiled helplessly and put a pen in her hand. "Fine, but don't write down a fake number again."

/Summer never ends, and mountains and rivers always bring us together again.
