Helena is a doctor from the 21st century. On her way to work, she gets killed by a falling second brother and transmigrates.

Helena: What kind of bizarre way to die is that? Hey! Is transmigration really this easy these days?

Well, now that she's transmigrated, life goes on.

Harry: (proudly looking up) Helena is my childhood friend! I'm not an unwanted child!

She thought she'd spend her life in the orphanage, until a woman suddenly came to tell her she'd been accepted at Hogwarts.

Cedric/Draco/Blaise/Theodore: A Hufflepuff from the Black family?

Helena's family in her previous life was unhappy, and she never expected her background in this life to be so mysterious.

Dumbledore: You're the child of Grindelwald's niece and Sirius Black.

Narcissa: You're the child of Grindelwald's niece and Regulus Black.

Helena: L-little tadpole looking for Daddy?

When the bald old man shows up at the end of the year, Helena steps forward.

Helena: He's my childhood friend! The only one I've ever had in either life!

Helena was ignored by everyone in her previous life, but in this one, romance comes at every turn.

Harry: "Helena, will you stay with me forever?"

Cedric: "Let's work together to realize this ideal of fairness and happiness."

Theodore: "You are uniquely alive."

Helena: The wise do not fall in love...

The world sings of the beauty of life, but Helena doesn't really want to live.

Life is a grand journey. How do you want to live?

As The Chosen One, living for duty and destiny;

as an idealist, living for ideals and hope;

without thinking about anything, drifting through life in a daze;

or shattering the world's illusions and choosing to live anyway.

This is a journey about magic and courage, light and love, emptiness and despair, redemption and death.

Notes:

1. One male lead. The candidates are Cedric, Theodore, and Harry.

2. The heroine is a Hufflepuff, but she still has courage and intelligence, and the determination to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. Hufflepuffs aren't useless; those traits just aren't as strongly associated with their house as with the others. Hufflepuff values kindness and honesty.

3. The heroine's house, wand, and Patronus are all based on the results of the "Magic Tools Set" quiz. No arguments accepted.

4. Blaise and Theodore are both the author's interpretation, so they're very OOC. Their friendship is close to love but not quite there; I'm not trying to pair them together.

5. Couples in the story besides the heroine: (demon) Chelsea x Fred; Yunaresca x George (crossover with Ode to Tomorrow); and Alisa x Terry (original characters).

6. The author has only seen the movies, and some scenes will follow the movies. Readers who care about canon details, beware.

7. The author has never been to Europe. The descriptions of European culture, geography, sightseeing, and customs come from the internet and friends' accounts.

8. Helena is based on me, and her past is my past. I didn't deliberately give her a tragic backstory. The painful parts of Helena's past will gradually heal over the course of the story.
