I'm Engaged to the Real Young Master

[Preparing to start a new idea and fill this pit]

1.

Zhou Yubai is an elegant-sounding name, one his parents racked their brains to come up with after he was born.

Later, he follows his mother to the city and starts working at an estate. His mother tells him that the young master of the estate was once engaged to him as a child, but times have changed, so he must never bring it up.

One day, while working in the vegetable garden, he sees a pair of dirt-stained leather shoes before him. He looks up and sees a handsome face with an arrogant expression. "Are you Zhou Yubai?"

Zhou Yubai nods, and hears a cold laugh. "You're not that white, are you?"

Zhou Yubai thinks, he's pretty pale himself.

2.

Su Shaoqing doesn't seem to like having him around, always teasing him and treating him with disgust.

Before entering his room, Zhou Yubai has to bathe, even though he's not dirty at all.

Su Shaoqing makes him do all kinds of odd jobs to force him to leave, but Zhou Yubai can't quit. He needs the money.

Su Shaoqing looks down on him in front of his friends, but Zhou Yubai puts up with it, planning to leave once he has saved enough.

And yet Su Shaoqing also seems curious about him. He asks whether Zhou Yubai has ever kissed anyone, then presses his soft, warm lips against Zhou Yubai's, making his heart race.

3.

Just as Zhou Yubai expected, Su Shaoqing really does hate having him around and puts him through no end of misery to make him leave.

But on the day everything changes, the real young master comes home, and Zhou Yubai, the fake young master, is thrown out. The woman who used to be his mother says she can grant him one wish, but he wants nothing at all. He only wants to take Zhou Yubai with him.

Zhou Yubai refuses.

He sees the real young master, Su Zheyu, holding Zhou Yubai around the waist with a triumphant look. "Him? He's only engaged to the real one."

In that moment, he wants to kill someone.

4.

Peace returns to the estate. Su Zheyu's passionate interest in Zhou Yubai cools, and Zhou Yubai has saved enough money to hand in his resignation.

The moment Su Zheyu learns Zhou Yubai is leaving, his heart skips a beat. He finds him and is overjoyed, but Zhou Yubai's expression is indifferent.

He says, "Wasn't the game of fighting over the real and fake young masters over?"
