I Made the Lord of the Embroidered Uniform Guard Cry

As one of the most famous female constables in the capital,

Li Yan worked hard to solve cases every day.

One day, while trying to catch a notorious river pirate,

she charged into a brothel and accidentally bumped into a handsome, aloof male courtesan.

Afterward, she apologized. "I was only trying to solve the case. I'll make it up to you."

The courtesan: "…"

When Li Yan returned to the yamen,

her immediate superior was enthusiastically introducing their newly arrived supreme commander, his own future superior: the brocade-clad guard, Xi Hongyi.

When she saw the handsome, proud-looking man sitting in the main hall,

Li Yan's vision went black...

Th-that's the male courtesan I just hit on!
