Xu Fenglai is tall and broad, unlike the petite men from other families. He is the famous ugly man of Shangqiao Village, and after his engagement is broken off, he becomes a laughingstock in both Shangqiao and Xiaxiaqiao villages.

He thought he would spend his whole life being laughed at by others, but everything changed after he found a man in the backyard.

Content warnings:

1. Farming + childbirth + unconventional face-slapping. Strong bottom and beautiful top.

2. The top and bottom are attracted to each other at first sight, so don't wonder why their feelings seem to come out of nowhere. The bottom is handsome and the top is beautiful; each is exactly the other's type. The bottom is described as strong compared to the men in this story. The top and bottom have very different social standings, but this is a sweet, doting romance, and I'll try to make the plot feel plausible.

3. You know I like a slow, steady pace. Although the top is a prince, that's mainly for face-slapping, and I won't go into much detail about court politics. Farming is the focus.

4. There is a secondary couple, but they are only briefly mentioned in the main story.

5. Short to medium length.

6. The bottom is tall, with long legs, faint abs, and soft pecs...

The Timid Little Husband blurb:

In a year of famine, Yun Xiaoyao's own father sells him to Chen Wang for ten dan of rice.

Thank goodness. While everyone else gnaws on grass roots with empty stomachs, he has to secretly make delicious food with his mother so no one catches on.

He thought they'd have to live like this for years, but then his mother, out of kindness, brought the poor young man from the Yun family home and said she wanted him to be Chen Wang's wife.

Damn, who cares about having a wife? Getting food to share is what matters.

A little scene:

After the two grow close, Chen Wang covers Yun Xiaoyao's eyes and whispers sneakily, "I'm going to show you a great treasure."

"A... a great treasure?" Yun Xiaoyao struggles violently. "No, we haven't even had our wedding ceremony. This is improper."

Chen Wang, who was about to take him into his spatial storage, freezes. Realizing what Yun Xiaoyao means, he lets him go and crosses his arms. "Yun Xiaoyao, you look like such an honest person. I didn't expect you to have such a dirty mind and know so much."

"..."

In the end, Yun Xiaoyao does get to see Chen Wang's other great treasure. Not only does he see it, but that great treasure also leaves him aching all over and crying every night.

Chen Wang loves using that great treasure to bully him, and even gets him pregnant with their child.
