I Got Scammed by a Dragon at the Magic Academy

The night before he leaves his sect to study abroad at a magic academy, his master takes his hand and talks to him through the night with tears in his eyes.

Fang Shuzhou nods repeatedly, putting on an equally reluctant face.

But then he turns around, hugs his treasured storybook, illustrated with mermaids, and goes to stand in front of the teleportation array. "I'm ready. When are we setting off?"

Master: ?????

Horne Orik is the top student at the magic academy.

He also has another identity: the only silver dragon hatchling born on this continent in a hundred years.

On the day the transfer student arrives, Horne is taking a flying lesson. As he circles above the academy on his broom, the transfer student walks to the headmaster's office.

Horne: Tsk, just look at that poor thing. He can't even use Fly.

He maliciously transforms into a dragon and swoops down, swinging his long tail right in front of the transfer student to scare him.

Who knew the transfer student would pull a longsword out of nowhere, slash his tail, then fly away standing on the sword?

And so, he becomes one-sided enemies with the transfer student.

Divination is always Horne's best subject.

Planning to get his revenge, he confidently feels the magic in his crystal ball. From the corner of his eye, though, he sees the transfer student sitting a long way from the crystal ball, fiddling with his fingers.

Poor guy, Horne thinks. He must never have studied divination before.

But the next moment, the transfer student raises his hand and shouts, "Teacher, I just read the signs with my fingers. The mermaid is in the south!"

Horne stares at the crystal ball in his hands, still in a state of chaos, and falls into deep thought.

Horne Orik: This isn't scientific!!!

Fang Shuzhou: ?

Come down from the sky before you talk to me about science!

A little scene:

On the way to their field training, Horne transforms into a little dragon and flies around Fang Shuzhou, chattering away.

When Fang Shuzhou doesn't say anything for a long time, the little dragon sulks and lies down on top of his head.

Fang Shuzhou suddenly points to a red dragon on a distant mountaintop and exclaims, "That one's pretty. It's red, too. Nice. Red is great, such a festive color."

Horne Orik, the silver dragon hatchling whose genes make him mortal enemies with red dragons: "?"

He covers Fang Shuzhou's eyes with his wings.
