[Western Fantasy] Daylight Follows Daylight

"After the dawn, daylight follows in its wake." - Alamanong, Song of Dawn Blurb: When the news arrived, the newly crowned Demon King sat high upon his throne. He had once been the Empire's most celebrated prince, but had willingly fallen into ruin and become the ruler of the Seventh Demon Realm. His newly grown horns had yet to fully develop, but they already carried the scent of blood. The Demon King knew he was at the top of the Church's wanted list. The Church had already sent Tristan, their most righteous and powerful Grand Paladin. The armor Tristan wore shone brighter than moonlight, and his longsword seemed to hold the radiance of the sun. The souls of the holy knights belonged to the light, and no power could make them submit. So when Tristan crossed the blood and brimstone of the Demon Realm and stood before him... The Demon King tilted his head and simply said softly, "Come and kill me." He did not particularly want to fight this righteous Grand Paladin. He was tired, and dying by a knight's sword sounded like a decent ending. * He closed his eyes, but the blade did not slice across his throat. Instead, all the Demon King heard was an unbelievable vow. "I am still loyal to you," Tristan said softly. His will was as keen and radiant as his words. He knelt on one knee and kissed the back of the Demon King's hand. "Your Highness, your knight has found you." * CP: An arrogant, sensitive, sharp-tongued but soft-hearted Demon King gong x an upright and noble Grand Paladin shou who fiercely protects his own * Reading Guide: // Strong gong, equally matched couple, one-on-one romance, happy ending // A genuinely sweet romance, with mutual secret crushes and each other's one and only // The shou is a true white knight and does not turn evil.
