That Person Is Dangerous

A reclusive, socially anxious novelist with a day-and-night schedule x a handsome, wealthy, upstanding researcher Chen Chen graduated from a prestigious university, but by a twist of fate, she became a writer. To escape her parents and relatives' relentless pressure to get married, she moved to a remote county town, where she stayed for two years. One night, after yet another failed attempt to revise her opening chapter, Chen Chen finally decided to leave her tiny, rundown apartment with a rooftop terrace. Wearing pajamas and slippers, with a cigarette she'd just bought at the corner shop between her lips, she walked over to a barbecue stall, only to get beer spilled all over her. And as luck would have it, at her most disheveled, she heard the voice of her first boyfriend. Five years had passed. The first boyfriend she'd treated badly was still just as handsome and polished, like the youthful junior she'd known back then. "Chen Chen, long time no see." Long time no see. After dropping those words, Chen Chen practically fled. The next day, just as Chen Chen had fallen asleep, a call from the police station got her out of bed. An hour later, she ran into her first boyfriend at the station entrance again. People say once is a coincidence, twice is fate. Fate had apparently decided she would always look a mess and lose face in front of her younger boyfriend. She'd hoped they could go their separate ways, but her first love called out to her again. "So what do you want?" "I'm just looking for someone to do the laundry and cook." "Get lost!" Chen Chen stormed off in a rage, but when she got home, she found her persistent first love waiting outside her door again. Theme: Those who can't forget are bound to find an answer
