The Professor Is a Perfectly Reasonable Cheat

He Ruoyan has always been good at taking every punch life throws at him.

But this punch shouldn't have had a magical effect. It really shouldn't.

He Ruoyan, a single man in his thirties living alone (crossed out), a brilliant young forensic doctor, took time out of his busy schedule to download a professor virtual pet for his little sister, a hardcore Snape fan. He fumbled through a bunch of settings because he was dealing with unfamiliar territory, and finally finished. Then he discovered that the pet was far smarter than any AI on the market. It could even recite an entire Potions textbook while swearing at him... The materialist He Ruoyan fell silent.

But he never imagined he'd fallen silent too soon...

After a late-night barbecue with his rowdy friends and a phone containing a former Potions Professor, He Ruoyan got blasted into a mission space by a car flipping through the air in a 360-degree spin. When he opened his eyes and saw a certain Western face black as the bottom of a pot, all he wanted to do was quietly light a cigarette.

And silently recall a line from the virtual pet's instructions:

Developer: Limited Rational Cheats Company.

It all made sense now.

...Except it didn't!

Theme: Workers are all top dogs.
