The Nine-Thousand-Year-Old's Little Plum Blossom

In the Great Wei Palace, there was Zhong Ji, a powerful and influential seal-holding eunuch who could turn the court upside down with a wave of his hand. He stood above all others and was known as the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old. He not only controlled the government and looked down on all living things, but was also the true master behind the Great Wei. And with his astonishing looks, he was a beauty like no other. Yet no one dared to offend him, let alone profane him. To outsiders, the Great Wei was being toyed with in the palm of a eunuch's hand. But that was not the truth. Only a handful of people in the palace knew that the past and future of the Great Wei rested on the whim of one little palace maid. She held it all in her hands. . The palace maid Shaoyu was the apple of the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old's eye. He indulged her in every way, pampering her endlessly. Even if she asked him to tear out his heart and lungs, he would do it willingly. Shaoyu was the one untouchable thing he would never allow anyone to threaten. Whoever dared would die. . Every time Zhong Ji returned to the palace to see Shaoyu, he would wash himself clean, making sure not a speck of dirt remained. By then, Shaoyu would already be waiting eagerly. Before the door even opened, she would run to greet him and throw her arms around him. She beamed.
