The Flirt's Groveling Pursuit of an Alpha

Omega Ye Jiamin was a flirtatious butterfly, alluring and graceful, captivating countless people, with a sea of admirers.

"No one could help falling in love with her."

"I only want to be a fish in Ye Jiamin's pond."

Amid the clamor, Ye Jiamin tipped up Omega Gu Mingxiao's chin. Her peach-blossom eyes sparkled. "Would you like to be my puppy?"

Gu Mingxiao had loved her with all her heart since childhood. On rainy days, she'd kneel to take off Ye Jiamin's shoes; when Ye Jiamin fell ill, she'd stay by her side and fall ill too. When Ye Jiamin said go east, she never went west. She was sweet and obedient.

She knew Ye Jiamin didn't value herself.

She knew she was frivolous and shallow, with an empty head, half a pretty face and not much else.

But she loved her.

Upstairs, two figures entwined over wine and clinking glasses. Downstairs, Gu Mingxiao waited for Ye Jiamin for the nth night.

"I don't love you anymore," she said to Ye Jiamin, her gaze cool.

"And I don't want to be your puppy anymore."

"But I want to be your kitten." The woman's eyes brimmed with tears. Her proud neck bowed as she rubbed against Gu Mingxiao's shoulder.

"If a butterfly breaks its wings for you, would you be willing to keep me and take me home?"

"It's too late, Miss Ye."

Ye Jiamin became clingy and possessive, with eyes only for her.

No one knew that she drank every night, and Gu Mingxiao was the only thought she had to console herself with.

Gu Mingxiao had followed Ye Jiamin around since childhood. She had always wanted to become an Alpha, someone worthy of Ye Jiamin.

But the day she became a top Alpha and a business tycoon was the day she stopped loving her.

1. At first, the gong pursues the shou. In the middle and later stages, the shou pursues the gong, in a groveling-at-the-crematorium arc. Angsty and melodramatic.

2. The shou really is a flirtatious butterfly with no heart.

3. Happy ending, bittersweet and satisfying.
