Also known as Warning: Do Not Abandon Your Pet!
Aloof on the outside, warm within, and a blackened “little white flower” gong * outgoing on the outside, aloof within, an ill-fated beauty who is both strong and fragile shou
Everyone says the Sect Master took me in, a demon-sect orphan whose father’s identity was unknown and whose mother was executed, because I resemble my mother: once the most beautiful woman in the cultivation world, and his former... fiancée.
He saved my life and taught me the sword. I was willing to serve as his medicine and bear his sword for ten years, never imagining that one day my blade would be stained with his blood.
When he named this sword “Meijianchi,” did he know it was destined to become a blade of blood and hatred?
Notes:
1. The story begins from the gong’s perspective, in third person. It uses a mix of traditional and my own cultivation-world conventions. Their relationship develops from master and disciple into true love. I wanted to practice writing a gradual, long-running change in feelings, so it’s a slow burn, and the gong grows over the course of the story. Needless to say, the shou has a great deal of screen time! He is an absolute main character, but due to a certain structural constraint, his perspective gradually becomes more prominent as the plot develops. Overall, each gets about half the story. There’s also a bit of an ensemble cast, with plenty of attention given to supporting characters and their perspectives. The story switches between two or more viewpoints.
2. Both the gong and the shou suffer. It’s one-on-one, with the two of them truly loving and hurting each other, and it has a happy ending. There’s plenty of melodrama and angst. This is absolutely not for anyone who strongly favors either of the main characters. Gong stans, stay far, far away! The author will 100% hit your landmines and will delete comments and block you.
3. No judgment, criticism, or writing advice, please. If you don’t like it, don’t give the author feedback! Don’t attack or diss either protagonist or the author. Do not break up the pairing or reverse their roles. Don’t feminize the gong; the author doesn’t understand it and won’t accept it! Any comments like that will be deleted, and the commenters blocked.
Special thanks to Xiyou Baobao for commissioning so many beautiful illustrations of Lanyin and Xuanyu!!!

In addition, I also hope that you will not overly substitute your own three views of reality to view the various complex conflicts between all the characters in this article. This is an imaginary cultivation of immortality that is not fully applicable. Please leave the fierce conflicts to the people in the world of the article, communicate peacefully and friendly outside the article, and jointly manage a small garden of our hearts [Pink Heart] (It turned out that I found a typo at the top, so I wrote it again)
In front of Wuyu, Xiao Lanyin gave her a heart attack [vomiting blood].
The author's health is important, so you can wait slowly. This chapter of Lan Yin's counterattack was so enjoyable [Spreading Flowers]
