Good news: I transmigrated.
Bad news: I don't recognize this place.
When he opens his eyes in a world called Teyvat, he finds his mind filled with all sorts of things. In fact, the sheer amount of information is so overwhelming that he even forgets his own name.
Though his thoughts are a chaotic mess, he clearly remembers two things.
First: This body is the Sea God.
Second: He will love humans forever.
Agarese, who washed ashore on the currents and had been staring blankly for who knows how long, frowns at the throne in the sky. He has only one thought: What kind of nonsense is this?

The Archons are powerful and long-lived. In this age, before the Archon War has even begun, fragile humans often worship the nearest Archon as a god. And because of their instinct to love humans, few Archons refuse.
The Archons offer protection, and humans offer sacrifices. This is the law of survival in this age.
Agarese stares at the raw food in his hands in silence for a long time.
Though he is a mermaid now, strictly speaking, not a human but an Archon, and he can't remember anything about his previous life, he did transmigrate. Hasn't he been downgraded far too much, ending up back in an age of eating raw meat and drinking blood?
Agarese falls silent. Agarese is heartbroken.
In the end, the Sea God brings fire and teaches humanity its first method of cooking: barbecue.

The god who protects Liyue is the Geo Archon, Morax. The people of Liyue also worship their Rex Lapis, but before setting sail, they still make a habit of paying their respects at the divine abode on the sea.
It is the divine abode of Agarese, the Sea God.
After discovering this, the Traveler from another world is curious and asks Zhongli, the most learned person around, how the custom came about.
The consultant of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor looks toward the divine abode, his eyes revealing no emotion. It is not that he feels nothing, but that his feelings are too complicated to discern.
"Few people in Liyue remember this now, but in the very beginning, the one who protected the first people on this land was the Sea God, Agarese."
"And the custom of going out to sea today is not for good fortune. It is more like paying tribute."
"For the Sea God fell while protecting Liyue, in the place farthest from the sea."

From the moment life was born in Teyvat, its fate was written into the threads of destiny, impossible to deviate from or change.
But there will always be people who want to break out of their shells and bring new hope to the world.
Note: Since the story hasn't reached the fight against the Heavenly Principles or Khaenri'ah yet, I'll be making up a lot of things.
The pairing is undecided. I'll see how it goes as I write.
